DAMP PROOFING
Damp can be classed in three different categories namely, rising damp, lateral damp and penetrating damp. Identifying the root cause of damp will be the first step in solving the damp issue and preventing the damp from re-occurring.
We offer detailed damp reports to all existing property owners, managers or potential new buyers. The report includes photographs, damp readings, and a detailed description of the procedure method.

Rising Damp
Rising Damp is a form of damp that affects the walls of a building when moisture from the ground (or a leaky pipe) travels up through the wall.
Lateral Damp
Lateral damp is where water penetrates through a wall horizontally. This may be via cracks or porous building materials.
Penetrating Damp
Penetrating damp is the process of moisture moving from the exterior wall of a building to the interior.
