We know preparation work is key, therefore the majority of time is spent on opening of cracks, removal of flaking paint, application of bonding liquid, priming, waterproofing etc., then only can one apply a minimum of two coats of paint to the newly prepared surface area.

 

We usually apply oil to wooden elements and not varnish. If varnish is exposed to the sun for long periods of time it tends to flake rendering the protection element of the product useless.
